The Epcot Flower and Garden Festival is an annual event at Walt Disney World. Featuring outdoor kitchens, gorgeous topiaries, special events and presentations, this celebration of Spring has something for everyone. The best part? You don’t need to purchase anything additional for entry beyond your standard park ticket! Here is a tour of some of the things you can expect at this year’s Flower and Garden festival.
The first thing to grab is your Garden Passport. You can find these being passed out for free by a cast member. It includes a list of topiaries and gardens, concerts, outdoor kitchens, and includes stickers to mark off Flower & Garden spots of interest with stickers in a mini scavenger hunt!
As someone with an irrational fear of butterflies, I thought walking through the butterfly room would be a nightmare. I’m still alive to tell you that it was a wonderful experience! The butterflies and the foliage were beautiful.
Topiaries, Gardens, and Exhibits
The topiaries strewn throughout the park are the highlight of the festival. Between Cars to Donald Duck to princesses, it’s hard to pick a favorite of the 70+ topiaries in the park. Be sure to check the rooftops of the England pavilion for a chance at spotting Peter Pan. Other special exhibits include bonsai trees in Japan and Alpine Containers that include plants soaring to the skies.
The Disney World equivalent of a food truck are the delicious pop-up outdoor kitchens spread all around the World Showcase. Check out a full list of outdoor kitchens here!
The Flower and Garden festival runs until May 29. If you miss this year, the 25th annual Epcot Flower and Garden festival take places spring of next year!
