Gumbo, beignets, and Monte Cristo sandwiches, oh my! Located in the heart of New Orleans square, Disneyland’s Cafe Orleans has something for everyone.
This restaurant is a great alternative to Blue Bayou. The menu items are cheaper, it is easier to snag a reservation, and it is the only other place where you can get a famous Monte Cristo sandwich. Most people visit the Blue Bayou for the great view of the Pirates of the Caribbean boats floating by. However, the Cafe Orleans outdoor tables offer gorgeous views of the Sailing Ship Colombia. Princess Tiana also makes appearances in New Orleans Square, so you may just catch a glimpse of her meeting young fans!
The menu includes a variety of cajun-creole cuisine at about $15-25 a head. The menu is geared more toward teenagers and adults, though there is a small kids menu with spaghetti and macaroni and cheese options.
The dessert menu offers mainly fruit-based treats and coffee. The beignets and crepes are Disneyland classics! Check out the menu below:
If you are visiting Cafe Orleans on your birthday, be sure to wear your button from City Hall and you may just get a delicious birthday treat! Check out the fluffy and sweet Mickey shaped beignets we got at our last visit.
